Driver Education at Safe America

All Safe America driver education courses are licensed by the State of Georgia Department of Driver Services. Each student will attend 30 hours of classroom training, which includes the State-required Alcohol and Drug Awareness (ADAP) training. At this location, our program is classroom only instruction. However, if a student would like individual behind-the-wheel training with a licensed driver training instructor, it is available upon request and is $225 for 6 hours of instruction. Registration for this class is done through the Timothy Ministry Website under the class listing for 9th-12th grades.

Benefits

The 30 hours of classroom instruction provide the student with a 30 hour Certificate of Completion and an ADAP (Alcohol and Drug Awareness) certificate. Both of these are required to get a driver’s license in Georgia for students younger than 17.
